PLECS is a software tool for system-level simulations of electrical circuits developed by Plexim. It is specially designed for power electronics but can be used for any electrical network. PLECS includes the possibility to model controls and different physical domains besides the electrical system. Industry Application Society Student Branch Chapter of University of Moratuwa had organized a workshop on PLECS software on 24th April 2021 at 6.30 p.m. via Zoom.
The workshop conducted by Eng. Sheron Bolonne who obtained his B.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering with First-Class Honors in August 2016 from University of Moratuwa. More than 30 participants have joined the workshop to learn about this simulation platform for power electronic systems. Everybody got a good knowledge of what we can do with PLECS software.
